WEIL Perfumes
A Story Beginning in the Roaring Twenties
The WEIL perfumes were created by three young, enterprising brothers with vivacious and passionate temperaments. The WEIL perfumes drew their initial inspiration from furs.
Having taken refuge in the United States in 1940, the WEIL family had time to perfect the perfume oil SECRET DE VENUS. The family's activity resumed in Paris in 1946 with the creation of PADISHA and ANTILOPE.
In 1960, with Jean Pierre Weil at the helm, the second generation modernized the brand. This led to the creation of EAU de FRAÎCHEUR, a very fresh toilet water with green and lemon scents. One perfume followed another: GENTILHOMME (1966), WEIL DE WEIL (1970), CHUNGA (1977), and WEIL FOR MEN (1980).
In 1984, WEIL perfumes achieved great success with the creation of the floral and lightly fruity perfume BAMBOU.
In 2002, AROLI AROMES LIGERIENS acquired the brand from INTERPARFUMS. Since then, 10 new fragrances have been created.
